Due to their limited number, each Billboard will be auctioned out. These rules and regulations have been put into play
to ensure fair competition between bidders. These include the following:
- The Auction Process
- The auction house deals in Nigerian Naira only, this is currently the only supported currency.
- Auctions can be scheduled by registered users and will typically last between 1 and 7 days.
- The item being auctioned will be sold to the highest bidder only at the end of the auction.
- The item being auctioned will be describe accurately, truthfully and completely. However, we strongly recommend
that you contact the owner of the item should you have any further enquiries
before you place a bid.
- For every auction, bidding starts at the reserve price of that particular item.
- Some specific auctions may include a buyout price that any bidder can accept to pay at
any time during the auction period and instantly win that particular auction.
- We encourage only serious participants and urge everyone to conduct themselves in a civilized manner; unruly behaviour
will result in automatic eviction, disqualification and the possibility of an outright account ban.
- Bidding on Items
- You must be a registered user to bid on items.
- By bidding, you are stating that you are ready, able and willing to purchase that item for your bid amount. Ensure
you bid within your means and that you can cover the funds which you commit to while bidding.
- If you are outbid, or your bid does not meet the item's reserve price, you are under no obligation to buy.
- If you win the auction, you are entering an agreement with LGTNigeria to buy the item, and to
deliver payment within the specified time period. Failure to do so will incur penalties including the imposition
of restrictions on your account which may culminate in temporary or even full bans.
- Your bids are final and non-retractable, if you can't pay on time then please don't bid.
- Your minimum bid amount must be at least N100 more than the previous bid amount.
- There is no maximum bid amount for any item on auction.
- Merchants cannot bid in auctions that they scheduled.
- There is no maximum bid amount for any item on auction.
- Not chain bidding; users cannot place a bid on an item that they were the last to bid on.
- Winning the Auction
- On winning the auction, the item will be added to your list of orders and an online Invoice will be generated
unique to this order. Please refer to the "How to Order" documentation, in particular
starting from Step 4 on how to make payment.
Note: An order that originated from an auction cannot be cancelled without incurring
the penalties addressed in Step 2d.
